Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

The Grand Canyon, considered a Wonder of the Natural World, is a wide a deep canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and as deep as 6,000 feet (1,800 metres). It is largely located within Grand Canyon National Park, the 15th national park in the United States.
